IMF published global yarn and fabric production in Q1, Q2 and Q3 the situation optimistic forecast

International Textile Manufacturers Federation (International Textile Manufactures Federation, ITMF) latest statistics show: 2016 Q1 global yarn production compared with the previous quarter has increased, where Asia and South America production chain increased, Europe yields.

Q1 2016 global yarn inventories the previous quarter (Q4 2015) to reduce, where Asia and South America yarn inventory reduction, inventory of yarn in other regions remain unchanged. Europe and South America yarn over-year orders have been enhanced.

2016 first quarter global fabric production in the previous quarter (Q4 2015) The decrease was mainly due to the reduction of production in Asia and Europe, on the contrary, increase fabric production in South America. Compared with the first quarter of 2015, global fabric production was flat, where production in Asia remained stable, the decline in production in South America, an increase of fabric production in Europe. 2016 first quarter, global fabric inventories increased slightly, in which Asian stocks were reduced fabric, South America, inventories increased. 2016 quarter fabric inventory flat year on year. Global yarn and fabric production
2016 first quarter, global yarn production chain (compared to the fourth quarter of 2015) increased by 20%, of which the Asian yarn production chain increased by 21%, 29% increase in South America, Europe fell 4%. Compared with a year earlier, the first quarter of 2016 global yarn production increased by 4%, which yarn production in Asia and Europe, respectively, year on year increase of 5% and 4%; yarn production in North America and South America are negative growth , down more than 7% and 6%.

Compared with the 2015 fourth quarter, the first quarter of 2016 the global fabric production fell by more than 8%, of which production in Asia and Europe were down more than 10% and 2%, in South America fabric production chain is increased by 31%. Compared with a year earlier, the first quarter of 2016, global production was flat fabric, wherein the fabric production in Asia remained unchanged year on year, while production in South America decreased by about 21%, textile production in Europe an increase of about 9%.

Q1 2016 global yarn stocks were down by 5%, with Asia and South America fell by 6% and 1% respectively. 2016 first quarter year on year global yarn inventories increased by 3%, which, in Europe, an increase of yarn stock nearly 7%, South America stock is up 35% year on year in Asia yarn stocks were unchanged.

2016 first quarter global fabric inventories were largely unchanged, Asian stocks fell less than 1% of stocks in South America increased by more than 2%. Compared with the same period in 2015, the first quarter of 2016, global fabric inventories remained unchanged. Europe and North America fabric stocks fell nearly 2 percent and 3.5 percent, respectively, of an inventory of other regions remained unchanged.

2016 first quarter, yarn orders in Europe increased slightly by 0.5% qoq, an increase of 3%; South America's yarn orders chain rose more than 100%, an increase of 22%. Over the same period, European over-year fabric orders were down 2% and 4%; South America fabric orders growth of nearly 5%, down 23%.

According to ITMF forecast second quarter global yarn and fabric production will increase; "global yarn and fabric production outlook" indicates the third quarter production will be further improved.
